Make Your Own Personalized Cookie Cutters from a Simple Foil Pan [Kitchen Hacks]

Make Your Own Personalized Cookie Cutters from a Simple Foil Pan Part of the fun of holiday baking is baking cookies in all shapes and sizes. If you don't have the cookie shapes you want though, making your own custom cookie cutters is easy, and all you need is a printout of your shape and a foil pan you can pick up for less than a dollar at any grocery store.

Carolyn, author of the blog Juggling Frogs, explained that she wanted a set of camel cookie cutters, but couldn't find them anywhere in stores. Instead, she printed out the clip art of the camels, used some pipe cleaners to measure the length of foil she needed to make the silhouette, and then cut up the pan to make the materials for her cookie cutter.

The process is a bit lengthy, but it's easy, cheap, and the only materials you need are the shape you want cookies in, the pipe cleaners, the foil pan, and scissors. When you're finished, you'll have a cookie cutter that's the right shape and is safe enough for kids to use in the kitchen. Do you have another way to make your own cookie cutters?
