The police blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the Redmond Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The Redmond Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Redmond, which gets more than 500 calls (emergency and non-emergency) per week.

Burglary: At 11:22 p.m., a business manager reported that they received notification of computer activity at a car dealership in the 15200 block of Northeast 20th Street in Overlake late in the night. Upon investigation, an unknown suspect was found inside the business.
DUI: A male was arrested at 10:33 p.m. for driving under the influence in the 5100 block of 148th Avenue Northeast in Grass Lawn.
Drugs: UPS submitted a package containing marijuana at 3:25 p.m.
Harassment: Redmond police responded to a disturbance at an apartment complex in the 8600 block of 164th Avenue Northeast on Education Hill at 1:32 p.m.
Theft: Redmond police investigated a theft of an iPad at 9:32 a.m. from the 2200 block of 173rd Avenue Northeast. The victim reported his adult son stole the iPad and traded it in for cash at a video game store.
Vehicle prowl: Redmond police responded to and investigated a car prowl at 8:42 a.m. from a residence in the 4100 block of 169th Court Northeast in Overlake.
